    Poor photography and art direction,, the ice cream looks so fake and the over all composition is not working at all

    this is what i meant when i said the composition is not working,,
    the idea of putting the ice cream in the couch is not working at all even if it was a joke ! i do not think that McDonald’s seen or approved this ,,, just another scam ad

    I disagree.

    I believe this is a very insightful ad. If you look under a couch you use everyday, you are bound to find something. A lighter, pens, paper and some loose change.

    That change can buy an ice-cream from McDonalds.
    Maybe the art direction can be better, but bravo to the idea.

    No it’s not meant to be literal, but why not just show a one dirham coin instead of the ice cream cone and that gets your message across better doesnt it? “As cheap as change you can find in your couch” The ice cream cone placement destroys the concept and the size of the cone actually makes the product looks tiny which I’m sure wouldnt help sales either…

    i like the idea… :) but i don’t like the ice cream cone to be there.
    +1 with Amre – instead of the ice cream cone, just show a dirham or some loose change, that will make a difference.

    a good idea better art direction would have def made the wow factor

    biteme ; good point on the one dhiram coin just the signficance of a much smaller can damage the product credibility
    As far as i have been following with Mcds is that they try to potray a biigger product to the consumer which inturn helps in sales.

    i dont know on what basis it won
