MTV Arabia, an Arabic free-to-air youth entertainment and lifestyle channel that is part of MTV global network, goes on air at 00:00 on November 17, 2007 on Nilesat (Channel 14) and Arabsat (Channel 24), reaching a potential audience of 190 million people across the Middle East.
The channel will showcase the entire region’s latest trends in youth entertainment, with a mix of music and lifestyle shows that include original, Arabic productions and MTV’s globally popular series like Cribs, Pimp My Ride and Total Request Live (MTV US).

Farrukh Naeem reports on the the world’s biggest poster, unveiled in Dubai yesterday at a press conference held at Hyatt Regency Hotel from where one can get a glimpse of the record-breaking site on the ground.
The poster is a part of Sorouh Faces – a corporate citizenship campaign devised to collect one million faces to place on the poster site. For every photo received in the Sorouh Faces campaign, Sorouh will donate US$1 to the UAE Red Crescent, adding up to a donation of US$ 1 million!
