  • http://norayounis.com/ Nora Younis

    7ilw.. smart ad!

  • http://www.petervegas.blogspot.com Vegas

    I like them.
They’re sImple and it’s a good message for a brand like Hertz to push.

  • http://www.sumrin.blogspot.com AbdallaH SumriN

    nice ads :)

  • BARRACUDA

Nokia will be contacting you soon, people. Hope you don’t end up on a Motor Crawler .

  • HM Stieber

This just isn’t working for me – yes, people need to hang up and drive, but attacking the makers hardly seems like the most effective approach – at least not as presented here. Neither ad works – the “play” on words, on brand just doesn’t work.

  • Mhdbadr

WHAT the F@#K!! are u Serious?? are u stupid or something? why the hell are u attacking brands w mish bas hek with a silly and really bad execution kamen!!! Ahaaaaaaa i got it… this is a joke akid not an Ad!!! still not funny… if i was the client i would pay this agency with fingers and throw their business cards in the same trash can with the knockia motor blablablaa crap work!!

  • http://www.paragonmc.com Louai Alasfahani

i will not comment on the quality of the ads…but instead i will raise a question to the agency that created them…did they ever get published? i dont think so as in the GCC (and many countries or the world) this type of advertising is not legal. lets see what the agency has to say to that.

  • AD WATCHER

    Smart.. Like it

  • ammani guy

  • http://moeys.net Moey

bas execution, since I’ve globalized many brands logos…

this is bad work! and very used idea!

  • chan

    says it all!

  • http://www.adsinjordan.com amre husseini – AKA BITEME

I really think that if someone at HERTZ head office saw this they would probably have a heart attack considering the upcoming law suits. Although I think there is smart thinking behind them, you cant directly or indirectly knock the mobile company, you go after the user…DIDNT WORK FOR ME AT ALL, sorry Saad…:(

  • vinit

On a first thought the message is clear and come thru …about attacking the identity of some brands I am not sure…Like it over all though

  • A E R O

Everyone chill, do you seriously think these ads will make it to the media? That’s another creative director’s daydreaming after a heavy meal…

  • vinit

Full of Air thats what you are AERO…Stop giving gyan!

  • mediaman

  • http://adblogarabia.com kre8tive

    The Ads should say:

    KNOCK IT OFF, WILL ‘YA?
    you’ve distracted people

    YOUR MOTOR SKILLS
    Got to keep ‘em rolling

..and addressed to the creatives :-)
Come on people, stop coming up with first thought student work!

  • http://www.ziadhamdan.spaces.live.com ziad hdamdan

I don’t know why some people are trying to be lawyers here, come on guys keep law suits to people who know about it..

Whoever is running this blog isnt paying much attention to it.
The quality of your blog is being affected by people such as RESTLESS.
If you let people use that sort of language here then people will look elsewhere. Such comments is not accepted.
I think everyone should ban this site if it carries on.

  • Zeid Nasser (Admin)

Mr. Censorship, I thank you for taking the time and expressing your concern.

AdBlogArabia is open to all, it has a high level of tolerance, I never interfere in people’s opinion because I am providing a platform.

That is why it’s the Top Arab Advertising blog.

Try commenting on other new adblogs which censor, you won’t be happy. It’s because some of these new blog founders want to direct the conversation or prevent others from utilizing the blog to air their ideas or voice opinions on certain clients and agencies.

Here it’s not an issue at all.

However, when foul language is used, spelling out the words, I replace these words with charachters (*!%*), but keep the impression that the commentor is swearing. After all, it’s up to the commentor to project his/her image and ideas then it’s up to everyone to decide how to respond.

We are not children and this is the Internet, no one can stop the free flow of opinions.

Restless is a regular commenter, and a site user for two years now. Surely, his involvement in the conversation must be applauded even if you don’t like some of the things he says.

Thanks again for your concern, but myself and my fellow AdBlogArabians are sticking to an open and free commenting platform.

  • censorship

Restless seems to be disliked by everyone and there should be a democarcy. Who wants restless out?
Unless ofcourse Restless is you Mr Zeid??

  • Zeid Nasser (Admin)

    Interesting analysis.

I will tell you whether I am Restless, if you tell me who you really are, instead of hiding behind this ‘Censorship’ name.

  • http://www.ragejoadv.com restless

Zaid Nasser, I Really respect you and respect how you are running this successful blog..

Censorship, get a life man :)

  • http://www.bloganubis.com Louai Alasfahani

the work is a pure copy cat based on the proof in this link http://paragonanubis.wordpress.com/2008/05/13/phoney/
