Advertising on your food?

AdPunch says that M&M has decided to rent out their candy-coated chocolates for corporate logos and advertising following their latest strategy, ‘My Branding’.
These could be ‘corporate gifts’ or simply used for party-fun.
M&M is likely to charge $100 for set up and $22.50 to $30 per pound for M&M’s ‘branded’ candy.
This could start a trend of advertising on food…. not just on food packaging, but on the actual food you consume.
What will marketers think of next!
