Hey admin, i think from now on you should only accept scanned ads from real magazines & newspaper to prove what is real.
If this isnt a fake ad i dont know what is.
Also for Gods sake if youre going to fake an ad atleast do an amazing one. You cant fake a mediocre ad!

Adblog gulf not arabia. most of agencies in amman won awards… where is that ? they were fake ads ?

  • 6. Magnetic  |  October 21st, 2009 at 11:33 pm

    what’s “reserved” in 1&3 ? :D

  • 7. Magnetic  |  October 21st, 2009 at 11:42 pm

eh, don’t forget Lebanon and Syria alongside Jordan, maybe agencies there don’t have the guts to share their ads

  • 8. YALLA 123  |  October 22nd, 2009 at 1:46 am

Have to agree Magnetic. If TeamY&R, AGA and Grey are so proud of their awards why don’t they post them here so we can all see them. You won’t be seeing anything from Publicis though. Because they don’t have the guts and the work worth reviewing.

Doesn’t look like Oman to me and although I do like the photographs (dont know if they are stock) but they are inappropriate to Oman (especially 1&3).

They also need some help with copy “AWESOME” and “FOR JUST”

YALLA name of the agency is Publicis Graphics / not Publicis and I’m quite confident you should already know that

It all started with you Mr Hussieni telling Zeid not to show the JAA winners on two different threads when we all wanted to see them.

Why would you be so nervous/scared/terrified/embarrased about doing that?

The reasons are endless but the main ones are because none of your clients would get any visibility and they’d be pissed off that none of their work was good enough to win.

Plus the main reason is you didn’t have the work and couldn’t face coming second again or…worse still…. third or fourth.(which, based on AGA and Grey’s performance was highly likely)

So let’s all just accept that and move on.

Zeid don’t be influenced by Mr Husseini here (who seems to think he runs this site and can bully whoever he wants) and put all the winners on this site. Please.

Bad photoshop. Weak concept… and they’ve spelt ‘reservations’ wrong….

  • 19. Zeid Nasser (Admin)  |  October 24th, 2009 at 9:44 am

    ?

I already answered the inquiry regarding JAA winners. I do not appreciate your ‘influenced’ comment.

If Yalla 123, Amre, Restless or anyone else has comments about this topic or about one another, then you are free to express them as always on AdBlogArabia. But, kindly respect one another as the world is watching.

I shall repeat: ArabAd publishes them first, then I shall select some of these winners and start posting them over the course of several weeks.

  • 20. YALLA 123  |  October 25th, 2009 at 3:30 pm

Ah come on Zeid…you were all ready to post the winners here on your site…in fact you said ALL the winners then when Mr Notsosharp says no you back off.

    nice ad .. like it

  • 22. Neil  |  November 2nd, 2009 at 10:35 am

I think the campaign is apt for the brand, and for the market as well.

I frequent to this resort, and it’s a totally different experience. Cars and any sort of automobile is not allowed inside the resort premises. If you wanna travel from one place to another inside, you could either use cycles or electric buggies (To live up to the brand promise… naturally.)

Secondly, it’s full of verdant greenery. One will fill trees in all directions. So the campaign clearly communicates about the awesome experience one would get in the resort.

If I get the Creative Directors CV ever I will never appoint him. He has no clue about the region’s advertising. How can one show leggy models and cleavages in Oman. He will be slashed one day. This is subliminal advertising. Whereby soft core elements are infused in the visual treatments. These visuals are very similar to adult movie posters from Tinto Bras movies. The agency should be banned or the creative. How is Oman allowing these advertising standards? Makes me think. Respect man. I think Ali u are a muslim and u should know what the hell your are doing. One day you will face humiliation if you guys continue like this. Would you like to show your women in this form to the world? Very disappointing ads.

NOUFAL YOU HAVE TALENT I SEE BUT WRONGLY USING IT BY USING SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES.
