but i think there’s a problem with the tenpin shadow in the second visual

  • restless

i didn’t understand this ! why the sexual indications? and the model shots ? is there a fashion show during this !

  • Quick comment

    WTF??!
Noufa Ali and Arun need to be deported and i dont mean Oman, i mean advertising all together.

This has to be one of the worst things i have ever seen on this blog, honestly. This is just vulgar, sexist and not witty at all as far as i am concerned.

  • CD

h ha ha ha hah ah good one when a person hold the bowing pin always gives u the feel of holing d**k… i think association is here both expressions! if you loose the game or win the game you have expression, is this what you mean here?

  • restless

agree with Quick comment ! really bad

  • mari

Sexual implication for a campaign to promote a bowling tournament in Ramadan (I would assume)…

    Very weak copywriting

Very little connection between what the visuals are saying and what the copy is saying

Doesn’t make me want to participate in a bowling tournament at all. Doesn’t make me want to do anything more than apologize on behalf of the advertising industry in the region!

was this ever published? in Oman!!! it seems that Mr. Noufal Ali from FP7 Oman has not learned anything from FP7 Doha or the Dubai Lynx scandal. STOP DOING COPYCAT ADS AND GHOST SPOOF ADS. you are ruining the already tarnished image of the ad industry. http://bloganubis.com/2009/05/01/who-let-the-dogs-out-who-who/ http://bloganubis.com/2009/04/05/rusty-idea/ http://bloganubis.com/2009/03/31/john-doe/ http://bloganubis.com/2009/02/11/fishy-from/ and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Im flying into Oman on the 18th – 26th of September anyone interested in commenting on this from FP7 Muscat can call me on +965 66009977 and set up a meeting.

  • Quick comment

I think 99% of the employees are Indian, i think one is Muslim.
Where are all the Arab creatives?

  • http://www.bloganubis.com Louai Alasfahani

why is my comment still in moderation?!!!!!!

  • jayson

The campaign looks like they are suitable for lipstick and sunglasses, not for a bowling (event) tournament…
and I think they just add the (bowling) pin… :)

btw, I like the idea! :)

    sex sells!

  • Noufal Ali

    Dear Mr. Louai,

These are not ghost ads – these are real works done for real client. There’s an ad club called Conditions Apply in Muscat. And they conducted a bowling tournament for all the ad agencies in Oman. So the TG of the creatives are purely those who work in ad agencies.

When you come to Muscat, we’ll sit for a drink.

  • Noufal Ali

    Dear Mr. Louai
pls have a look at the link

  • ShakeMo

Complete rubbish. Not even advertising. Give up FP7, you’re just not good at advertising. I dunno, print wallpaper or something..really.

  • http://www.bloganubis.com Louai Alasfahani

    Dear Mr. Noufal,

I look forward to meeting you in Oman to discuss all the things we spoke about on the phone.

  • http://mediame.com Zeid Nasser (Admin)

    There you have it !

    AdBlogArabia is connecting people :)

  • http://www.bloganubis.com Louai Alasfahani

yes Mr. Zeid Mr. Noufal Ali did call me and we had an intresting conversation as well as aggreed to meet in next few days, this is posive becouse both of us have a point of view to discuss and non of us is using an alias or a nick name, we firmly stand behind our belife and are willing to hear each other out, I hope that others follow in the foot steps of Mr. Noufal and drop thier masks or drop the act and let us lead this industry. NB. Dont forget Zeid that “connecting people” is Nokia’s slogan ;)

  • Hussain

    Can’t believe this??!

FP7’s no.1 enemy is Louai, bcos he is the guy who totally tarnished the name of FP7 and Fadi Yaish by making a well planned attack on FP7 only six months ago.

Now Noufal ali, a CD from one of its branch office [Oman] and Louai are going to meet in Oman??! How they know each other before??? I think something seriously wrong …

Veryvery shocking, Louai also openly says “… to discuss all the things we spoke about on the phone” Is this true? What’s happening? Can you believe this? ?!

I think either Louai is desperately trying to tarnish the name of FP7 again or is there something is really happening behind the screens??!

  • UNeedAWriter

Man this is the the best example of poor copy! I think you guys really need a new copywriter. The copy is weak, the art direction needs direction and the concept, well it needs a concept. FP7 Oman is just a pittance and probably the weakest link in the FP7 network. Stop the badvertising now!

  • Kevin

Was there any need for vulgar double entendre ?
