    BAD BAD BAD retouching (aside from bad idea), Don’t show this trash to Volvo, they won’t allow you to play with their logo. WTF?

    i have seen this Ad in a magazine and read it fully, i believe it’s designed for those who know the value and roots of the painting and why Leonardo did and what influenced him to do so. Go research guys and then comment ;)

    I think BigB is invovled in this ad that’s why he’s defending this. Anyways, tell you my friend, Conceptwise,Volvo is a safety car,It is not in anyway positioned as an ARTSY or even connected to any Master or painter because it established it’s own strong positioning.This ad is TOO FORCED, The art direction sucks, why don’t the creatives shoot another texture and not to use the original and clone stamp the original details? The amateurish yet pathetic attempt shows alot in here.. so if VOLVO people sees this trash.. definitely they’d turn this ad down.. a faded logo? give me a f*ckin break! Do they have a copy of the volvo guidelines? SO why don’t you tell your Memac guys to do the research before they post it here, because there are a lot of people in here who knows a lot about advertising.
