    although ive been thru this ad so many times, i just still don’t tend to understand it. fem the other side, there’s no connection between the brand and the ad!

    It’s an overcooked, over directed piece of nothing. No idea, so let’s have flaming footballs on top of a volcano..yawn. Smells of 80′s try hard..

    I am sick to the teeth with these football ads in weird locations.
    Now how many bloody times have we seen this done before? dont let the ball drop or lets blay football somewhere dangerous or blah blah blah.
    Give me a break, whats next?

    chaps: I like the ad :)
    great production though the storyline is so easy: just listing values of HIlal while showing the fireballs they can throw.
    to QckC: maybe we’ve seen this before, but in this part of the world nobody dared to go out of the box. We are way behind when it comes to new ideas (the absolutely new); so at least let’em be new contextually.

    Big M, the story is that Mobily are sponsoring Hilal since two years already, so maybe advetising for them is part of the deal, maybe.
    Mobily have a dedicated package for HIlal fans, so the more they are part of the fans, the more business they (would) generate.

    Though I’m not at BBDO, and we have been always competitors, I like most of their ads for Mobily.
    Y&R have done also great work for them, specially the “ghataynaha” campaign.
