    So Abdullah even if impair vs. impairs is wrong, you’re fine with the use of “SEX POWER” ?

  • 9. Adam  |  June 7th, 2009 at 11:22 am

    @Abdullah

    Impair is not the right word here. It’s fine in the example you offer because of the word ‘can’ before it, but in the sentence in the ad, it has to be ‘impairs’.

    As for whether it’s a big mistake or not, that’s subjective. In conversation, no one’s going to be bothered by it. But I would argue that if an ad agency is trying to communicate in English and gets 25% of its copy wrong, that’s pretty bad.

    i like the idea, but needs a good copy.

    Done already. Done better (without the grammer error of course). By AMV BBDO I guess.
