    The art direction is bad except for the first one.
    The third ad is horrible duplicate the same spoon with the same reflections and shadows :) . water (or that aluminum paper) is obviously 3D. The light source in the background is wrong in all.

    what i can under stand form the third visual is that they have INDIAN FOOD, and from the second visual that they have the ITALIAN FOOD and the first one they have greek books :) ,,,
    its so obvious that the client liked the visuals and he forgot about the idea and the marketing objective ,,,

    Unfortunetly there are two executions missing from this campaign. They’re better then the ones above and they’ve both been sent to Zeid but for some reason (after asking him so nicely) he won’t put them in. So now you can’t judge this campaign properly.

    Kre8tive I can honestly say I’ve never seen you compliment or give a constructive opinion on any of the work seen here over many of your posts. You shitcan work every single time. Mate anyone can rubbish work all the time that’s easy.I can’t tell you how often you say work is ‘boring’ and ‘so 90′s’. It’s boring in itself. It’s now got to a stage where you’re comments seriously lack any credibility.

    Restless, I’m not sure if you live in Amman or not but if you do you’ll know who and what Cozmo is (like everybody else)so there’s no need to educate people as to who Cozmo is. This is a brand campaign not a product campaign. We are talking to A class consumers who are sohisticated, travel alot and very global in their thinking. They’re smart, appreciate an element of intelligence and, from the reading so far, they understand this clearly and like it alot. To them it’s obvious.The strategy here is to establish that Cozmo is unique and more of a boutique department store that’s not one of a chain like the competition. Hence the line there’s only one Cozmo and the unique landmarks made from what you can buy at Cozmo.

    Creative rules, i do not think that Class A will go to cozmo!!, class A people are very sophisticated people who they go to paris and new york to shop for brands like Prada, Valantinio etc…so i think that you are targeting class B or B+ max, anyway each ad will be seen separately (i dont have to see the whole campaign to understand it ) beside i still think that these ads are kind misleading and they can deliver another message,

    but again i like the the artworks they look good.

    Restless, They can’t go to Paris or New York to do their weekly grocery shopping. That’s why there’s Cozmo. And that’s why the B+ and A class shop there.

    man Class A can buy the whole COZMO :) , they dont go and buy Grocery!!! COME ON!!! have you ever seen any one form class A shoping in COZMO no way on earth, they dont have the time for that and they wont even bother to do that! so again your target is not class A or even B+, BTW you are not even targeting their butlers .

    FYI Class B is anyone earning more then JD800 per month. Class A is anyone earning more than JD1000 per month.
    Just ask any media buying agency in Amman.

    Cozmo is full of these people everyday, 7 days a week 365 days a year.

    Class A are not neccessarily wealthy

    No this is not correct.

    Only 5.1% are class A earning JD1000 + a month.

    8.6% are class B earning between JD600 to JD1000 month

    64.9% are class C earning between JD200 and JD600 a month

    And 21.4% are class D earning up to JD200 a month

    You can access these facts and figures through Ipsos and all based on monthly household incomes.

    See creative rules, you just luv dragging me into stuff, sorry to burst your bubble, but i am not dozero and I was on the sideline for this one, just reading and laughing but now your brought me into it…

    You talk about class A etc, your ipsos stats are generic and correct; but then you go on and talk about grocery shopping, sorry but to me these ads dont talk to me about grocery shopping nor do they talk to me about my weekly shopping trips. They tell me that Cozmo is a place that I can buy nice pots, pans, cutlery, kitchen supplies and I think the first one says that they have a book store…none of them are talking about weekly necessities that define groceries.

    The ads are very nice and from what I can tell they are not stolen as was the case with the previous cauliflower brain that was taken from LOWE in STOCKHOLM (client wasn’t too happy about that one were they?) and if you maintained a rationale that COZMO is positioning itself as a place for household accessories (you could even go out on a limb and say house hold accessories from around the world, given the visual association to global landmarks) I would be with you all the way, but you just had to go and say groceries didn’t you?

    and finally, seriously get off this trip that there’s no one else in the world but me that would question Y&R, there are a lot of people like that out there…

    no one told me that it was just a guess beacuse its so obvioues and i dont need ipsos to tell me that (BTW i dont belive in IPSOS stuff) just take a look around you!, i know for fact that Mustafa the one who sell falafel in the neighborhood earn 30 to 40JD per day wich means 900 to 1200 jd per month, man you cant live in amman if you cant earn 700 to 1000 per month especially these days when everything is up, but again being class A or B+ its not all about the money there are many other factors that should be considierd when calssifing ,
    again the whole campaign is not working even if you are targeting class A or B+, your ads are misleading and not focused..

    Restless please be careful because as history shows us anyone who gives a negative comment about Y&R Jordan’s work will automatically be labeled as me.

    Also as an elitest A class snob I was at COZMO today doing my grocery shopping and I decided to go up the escalator and check out the impact of the above noted campaign and its rationale. I was excited that within a few moments I would be bumping into the creme de la creme of Amman, yet to my surprise on a Friday at 6:30pm I saw empty hallways with a few clerks and one or two mid to lower income families buying some towels that were part of the red tag sale.

    One final note; the poverty line in Amman is approximately 540 JD; which means you need 540 JD in Amman to put bread on the table, to keep electricity running, to pay rent, to pay for heating oil and to by necessities. Creative Rules usage of generic ipsos figures is correct, but they are not an accurate indication as the b class should translate to the generic definiton of middle class yet with the B class starting at 600 JD per month are they really a middle class when they are less than 100 USD per month above the poverty line?
