To me that is very hard to accept. I think we have incredible talent in this part of the world and we have some very inspiring creative minds. I think the cultural problem is not the level of work, but the approach and attitude towards critiquing it...the interaction that happens on this blog and on others is so demotivating to any Arab creative, because the agenda for criticism is not based on the work or what can be done to improve the work, rather the agenda is to slash out at one another and turn this into a forum to discredit and demoralize those that are trying to pick up the level of work this region produces. eh: I dont think this culture is about doing work that’s not creative.
