The regional version of the Effie's took place in Dubai on the 21st November 2012. The Effie's is all about effective work. This is more than just a pretty-faced awards show; it's about creative that sells and gets results.
While the Effies have been around since 1968, the regional GEMAS Effies launched in 2009. This year saw a 30% increase in submitted entries, as well as a significant boost in the number of boutique/independent agencies.
