The Dubai International Advertising Festival will include a competition for Media in its inaugural Festival year, celebrating the most creative use of media.
This competition is in addition to the existing competitions of TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Interactive, Direct and Integrated, introduced by the Dubai Lynx Awards last year.
Judging cross-media solutions on their creativity in strategy, planning and execution, a panel of ten international media specialists will be considering single as well as campaign entries.
Delegate registration is now open for the Dubai International Advertising Festival, a three-day event to take place at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, UAE, from 31 March to 2 April 2008.
Festival delegates will be able to enjoy a fantastic line-up of seminars and workshops, all aimed at offering an extraordinary learning experience for local as well as international industry professionals.
A high profile seminar programme featuring top international speakers includes a series of topical workshops, exhibitions and screenings of the competing work, and is aimed at providing creative inspiration, learning and networking opportunities to the advertising and allied industries in the region.
Winners of the 2008 Dubai International Advertising Festival will be announced at the Dubai Lynx Awards Ceremony on 2 April 2008 at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, UAE.
In its first year, the Festival is introducing an Academy Registration Package for the under 23s, enabling the creatives of the future to participate in this unique experience.
