Job Purpose:
- Supports the development of marketing strategies, management and coordination of the Automotive Business Unit’s marketing plans. Develops and coordinates media coverage, sales campaigns, and/or promotional materials.
Job Description:
• Assists in providing strong leadership for the department in interfacing with other departments and BU’s to enable effective and efficient team processes.
• Manages tracks and analyzes all automotive related advertising, campaigns, sponsorships, media planning, events and launches, liaises with advertising agencies and event management companies.
• Negotiates for competitive rates on various forms of media (published, broadcast, web). Evaluates proposals and makes final recommendation to Group Marketing Manager.
• Manages automotive business unit’s websites.
• Communicates promotions to all appropriate internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Proofreads all promotion material prior to submission to release for printing.
• Recommends acquisitions and/or exchanges of mailing lists to enhance databases. Plans and executes mailing strategies.
• Ensure that direct reports and other subordinates are provided with adequate learning & development opportunities leading to career progression.
• Ensures operational costs for marketing activities are in accordance with the approved annual budget.
• Enhance consistent and appropriate brand recognition throughout all communications.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service to all stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or relevant discipline.
• 7-9 years of experience in a marketing research / advertising or marketing for a diversified group.
