Our client, a leading perfume manufacturing and retail company is currently seeking to recruit a Marketing Manager to head up their marketing department. The role responsibility will be to drive strategic marketing plans in order to increase sales and product performance. Your key areas of responsibility will be across but not limited to the following areas;
• In store merchandising, displays, signage
• Marketing of the products (pricing, comparison, launch)
• Sales Support
• Monitoring and reporting on brand, product, store and staff performances
• Promotions/Events/Direct Marketing
• Training and educating staff
• Coordinating with advertising and PR agencies
Your duties will therefore transcend across the whole spectrum of marketing
The ideal candidate will be degree level educated with at least 5 years experience in a similar role. You should also have been in a managerial role for at least 2 years. Knowledge of the luxury goods and perfume industry is very advantageous but not essential. In order to be successful in this role, you will have experience in all of the areas of marketing mentioned and be able to confidently develop and implement the marketing strategy for the group. It is essential that you are fluent in English and Arabic and those with experience in the local market will be given preference.
