Al Arabiya News reports that Saudi youth are now turning to new media outlets to discuss and share their concerns about unemployment, corruption, poverty and issues about social norms. With about 11.4 million Saudis on the internet, Saudis are now launching their own talk shows on YouTube, making it the second most visited site in Saudi Arabia, according to Alexa web statistics.
With that being said, conventional media now realizes that the new media movement cannot be overlooked, and is a major source of information to the Saudi youth, and a medium of communicating with the public.
