The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) announced that Bidaya Corporate Communications has joined the association to be the first Jordanian full member.
Bidaya Corporate Communications joining MEPRA comes in line with MEPRA'S expansion plan across the region, attempting to enhance the public relations and corporate communications strategic role in the Arab world and strengthen the highest ethical and professional standards. This step also comes to ensure that all consultancy corporations are committed to those standards.
MEPRA represents a reliable link between all governments, businesses and media communities and between the growing public relations industry on the other hand.
With Bidaya joining MEPRA, the number of its full members has increased to reach 19 corporate communications companies representing more than 100 offices in more than 16 different countries in the region.
Sadri Barrage, vice chairman at MEPRA, reiterated the Association's commitment in uplifting industry standards: "Bidaya's joining us today demonstrates the increasing interest of the regions' corporations to promote their offered services in the public relations field, and also reflects communications companies' concern to follow the industry's developments and benefit from the experiences and growth opportunities that MEPRA presents to its members."
Bidaya Corporate Communications was established in 2004 by Jumana Twal who has more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications. With a team of ten executives, Bidaya is today a fully-fledged agency and services some of Jordan's biggest names.
Jumana Twal, CEO at Bidaya said: "Joining the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) holds great significance to Bidaya Corporate Communications. Our membership will support the development required to take the industry in Jordan to another level. We would like to benefit from the skills and expertise MEPRA has to offer and hopefully add to the regional platform.'
Full membership at MEPRA is granted to reputable corporations that contain a minimum of 5 employees.
