Brash Brands is delighted to announce its appointment as strategic branding partner for Dohaland, a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, to review their corporate brand and flagship project, Musheireb.
The world's first fully sustainable downtown regeneration project, Musheireb will regenerate 35 hectares (86 acres) site in the heart of old downtown Doha. Dohaland was set up to fulfil the vision of Chairperson Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned to reclaim the country's lost architectural identity.
Dohaland undertook a three-year extensive study of Qatari architecture and designs by renowned architects and master planners that focused on devising a modern interpretation of traditional local building and design elements. The result was a new architectural language that respects Qatar's heritage, environment and climate, while meeting and exceeding the social and cultural needs of Doha's modern residents.
