One of the Middle East's entrepreneurial success stories embarks on its next chapter in 2011 with the evolution of D'pr and D'events into DABO & CO, an integrated communications company.
The move comes as the agency reveals a growth strategy based around regional expansion and the opening of a digital communications division.
The independent, Dubai-based company was formed just six years ago by sisters Camilla and Lucy d'Abo and in that time has grown significantly, securing business with international brands such as Visa, HSBC, BMW and Hilton.
Most recently, D'pr was awarded the prestigious 'Agency of the Year' title at the 2010 Middle East Public Relations Awards.
The company now has 35 staff and covers 15 countries regionally on behalf of its clients - a huge growth from when the two sisters launched in 2004 after building up extensive experience with other agencies.
"The rebrand is perfect timing as we've had a great year and we have ambitious growth plans," said Managing Partner Lucy d'Abo, "we're always striving to offer the very best in terms of creative concepts and client servicing, and moving towards greater integration will allow us to provide an even stronger offering."
Managing Partner Camilla d'Abo added, "Digital communications are going to become a key focus for us moving forwards. We recognise that areas such as social media are only going to grow in importance and our content expertise means we are perfectly positioned to understand how best to leverage these channels on behalf of our clients."
