du wins award from Emirates Environmental Group for paper recycling

du, the UAE's integrated telecom services provider announced today that it has won an award from the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), for recycling the maximum quantity of paper. The award was received by Ahmed Abu Rahima, VP Government Relations, du. du recycled a massive 58,042 kilograms of paper for recycling.

Hala Badri, EVP Brand and Communications, du, said: "We are honoured to have won this award in recognition of our company's recycling efforts. As a company firmly rooted in the UAE, caring for the environment in which we live-in is a key constituent of our CSR strategy and we consider it our duty to play our part in preserving the country's environment for future generations - through such simple means as recycling."

The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) is a voluntary organisation devoted to protecting the environment through the means of education, action programmes, and community involvement.
