The organisers of the 3rd Dubai International Advertising Festival, the leading creative advertising competition for the Middle East and Africa, are pleased to announce a new partnership with Dubai Media City (DMC), a member of TECOM Investments, making Dubai Lynx an award provider of DMC’s Ibda’a Student Awards.
125 Dubai Lynx student registrations will be distributed by the DMC to entrants of the Ibda’a awards allowing them to benefit from the various Festival activities which include seminars, screenings, exhibitions and workshops, enabling the students to further enhance their learning experience, be surrounded by industry professionals as well as giving them exposure to the best creative ideas the region has to offer.
Winning work from Ibda’a Student Awards will be showcased at the Dubai Lynx Festival to allow attendees to see the best of the new talent coming through.
Additionally, Dubai Lynx will offer one prize winner a paid trip to Cannes, France, and a place at the Cannes Lions Roger Hatchuel Academy, a one week training and education course available to a selection of up to 35 students from around the world studying advertising, marketing, communication or design, that takes place during the week long Cannes Lions Festival. The winner will enjoy attending the largest and most prestigious global advertising and communications event, where they will learn about trends of the industry, attend discussions and tutorials as well as taking part in the Festival activities.
