Impact BBDO takes home 3 GEMAS Effie MENA Awards for Marketing Effectiveness

Impact BBDO Group continues its winning streak as it walked away with 2 Gold and 1 Silver trophies at the GEMAS Effie MENA Awards, the only advertising awards in the Middle East to applaud the most significant achievement in marketing communications: effectiveness. The network showcased their talent through 12 entries, receiving a total of 9 shortlisted cases across 14 categories. The winners were announced at an awards ceremony held at the Joharah Ballroom in Dubai, where the leading agencies in the region battled it out for gold, silver and bronze.

Impact BBDO Jeddah received 2 Gold awards for their Doritos ‘The Mixers Vs The Jammers Campaign’ in both the FMCG and Best Youth Marketing Campaign categories. The winning campaign was launched to introduce a one of a kind snacking experience in an engaging way, using the music platform to driving consumers to the Doritos website and discover more about the product.

Impact BBDO Beirut was awarded Silver for the ‘2009 Parliamentary Electoral Campaign’ for the Ministry of Interior in the ‘Best Use of CSR’ category. The campaign focused on the ‘Hawitak Sawtak’ concept, highlighting the key message of the initiative to encourage 3.2 million registered voters to use their ID card on Election Day, leading to truthful and transparent results.
