The National has reported that Etisalat, UAE’s telecom operator, has recently signed an agreement with Google to broadcast YouTube’s video library in the latest upgrade of the operator's television service. Etitsalat will also be rolling out its applications store, where users will be able to control TV through mobile devices, and will allow them to download a variety of applications including newspaper articles, weather updates and an airline check-in service. According to the source, du is also in the process of upgrading its television service.
