Yahoo! has wrapped up a press conference announcing a major partnership deal with ABC News that will see ABC News get a much more prominent presence throughout Yahoo!. As Yahoo! News reinvents its news site, ABC will be bringing its premium content, including several new ‘web-first’ digital series featuring ABC News’s anchors, to Yahoo’s 100 million users.
According to TechCrunch, Yahoo! and ABC say that “creativity is key” in the alliance — they’re looking to create content specifically suited for Yahoo’s web properties, as well as tablet and other mobile form factors. GoodMorningAmerica.com will be launching as a new portal on Yahoo News.
