According to the second 'State of Digital Marketing in MENA' survey by Econsultancy, more than a quarter of company marketing budgets in the Middle East are expected to be spent on digital channels in 2012. According to the survey results, the proportion of budgets allocated will increase from 22% in 2011 to 27% in 2012. The survey's findings also reveal that 54% of companies are increasing budgets for social media, following the rise of social networking platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

The latest 'State of Digital Marketing in MENA' survey observes the digital landscape in the Middle East and North Africa.
