Volvo Cars has excelled in progressively moving forward since its origin in 1927 when the first Volvo car rolled off a production line at a factory in Göteborg, Sweden. Today the brand Volvo exudes road safety, quality, excitement, environmental control and top design.
Recent events show that Volvo, as a brand, is getting louder, funkier and younger than ever before. The first time we witnessed this was at the launch of the Volvo C30, a hip and trendy two-door compact model targeted at yuppies.
The Volvo C30 can be equipped with one of the very best factory–fitted audio systems in the world. The special body, with wide doors and deep side panels in the rear, has proven to provide an extra dimension for the sound, with extreme depth and powerful bass reproduction. There are three audio system levels to choose from Performance, High Performance and Premium Sound. The C30, Volvo’s guinea pig into the young market, was a phenomenal success- managing to hold on to its core values of safety and environment while portraying a funky aura.
Volvo Cars has also begun participating in chic contemporary events such as ‘Rhythm Through Time’, a show which took at Madinat Jumeirah (17th- 19th April 2008) with a central theme revolving around a dynamic celebration of dancing and how it has evolved throughout the years. “Both Volvo Cars and ‘Rhythm Through Time’ are modern entities which represent movement and have a well grounded history in time which should be celebrated” explained Volvo Cars Marketing Manager, Roula Beiruty. Inspired by the show, Volvo Cars incorporated a new tagline “Moving You”, representing speed, emotion and revolution, which is what the brand has come to represent.
