Al Jazeera has announced it will launch its content free of charge to social networking sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter as part of The Al Jazeera Initiative for Internet Freedom, allowing more people across a range of digital platforms to access Al Jazeera content; according to a report by Arabian Business.

Additionally, Al Jazeera is set to launch an application on the iPad and expanding its presence in mobile communications on the iPhone, Blackberry, Android, and Symbian platforms.
