Red House Marketing, the publishers of Bahrain This Month - the English language monthly magazine in Bahrain - are pleased to report the award of the publishing contract for Bahrain Air's in-flight magazine. This contract is valid for a three-year term.
"We are delighted to have been awarded this contract, in a competitive tender, from Bahrain Air," commented George F Middleton, Red House Marketing Chairman. "Too often in the past such contracts have been secured by non-Bahrain based publishers; this contract demonstrates a trust and confidence in local businesses and we commend Bahrain Air for putting their faith in local suppliers."
The first edition of the in-flight magazine will be available for uplift during August 2011, and will have an initial print run of 6,000 copies. "Red House Marketing, particularly through their monthly magazines, has consistently maintained a very high standard of work, and are clearly market leaders in their field within the Kingdom," added Naeem Mahamoor, Manager Marketing at Bahrain Air.
"We look forward to working with Red House Marketing as the airline starts to implement phase two of its business plan as a hybrid airline. This incorporates upgrading the services offered by the airline to a fully-fledged premium value carrier, with both business and economy class configurations. These plans also include a rapid expansion into markets such as the Indian Sub-continent, the Levant and MENA region over the coming years, increasing our current route network from 20 to 40 destinations by 2016."
Bahrain Air is in the process of investing in human capital and automation in capitalising on the market gap for a hybrid airline in the region. MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibition) and charter operations will be a primary focus along with schedule operations in range of services offered by the airline.
