Rapid TVNews reports that the Bahrain-based satellite operator, Noorsat, will be taking three transponders from Eutelsat, representing extra capacity on board Atlantic Bird 4A. The agreement proves that there's still plenty of headroom in Middle East television.
According to the source, Noorsat/Eutelsat is currently looking after approximately 170 digital channels, most of which are free-to-air, and some catered to the recent Showtime/Orbit merger.
