Harris Broadcast Communications recently secured new orders from existing customers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Turkey as the company continues to deliver solutions for broadcasters, resellers and systems integrators across the Middle East and South Asia region. The company has also seen increased interest from new privately-held television stations in Egypt.

Recent Harris successes include business from leading broadcasters in the Middle East including Al Aan TV, Abu Dhabi Media Corporation (ADMC) and Ten Sports — all in the UAE; Middle East Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) in Lebanon; Saudi Arabia's First Gulf Company for fixed and mobile applications; and the buildout of playout centres for many recently-launched television stations in Egypt, including Misr-25, El-Nahar Network and Semsem Television.

"Harris has built a reputation for providing best-in-class, integrated broadcast solutions that are customer-focused, and the repeat business that we have seen in the Middle East in recent months is proof that our customers clearly see our broadcast portfolio as supporting their technical and business objectives," said Said Bacho, vice president, sales and service, Middle East and South Asia, Harris Broadcast Communications. "With its proven broadcast solutions and local service and support teams across the region, Harris helps broadcasters from around the world to quickly and easily build return on investment and generate revenue streams from new avenues in an ever-changing media landscape."

The company's extensive product range and local service and support teams across the region allow Harris to deliver flexible, stable solutions that meet the rigorous demands of their customers' applications across the entire production and distribution chain.
