"The one big shift we're going to see in the next three to five years is going to be video advertising" - Nikesh Arora, President of global sales operations and business development - Google (Source: Reuters - 4th Dec 09)

iloubnan.info (web media portal and e-marketing specialist) and Origami (video communication specialist) are joining their expertise in order to offer Lebanese companies a package deal allowing them to showcase their companies, products and services online in a highly cost effective manner. They will be offering this new service as of January 2010.

Both companies observed the evolution of online video and seized the opportunity to launch a combined formula that would attract companies. Targeting primarily small to medium - size companies, the   package offered by iloubnan.info and Origami combines the production of a short presentation video ( 2 to 3 minutes ) in a standardized format  and its hosting on iloubnan.info portal at  a  promotional launching price.

"Our aim is to encourage Lebanese companies to venture into this relatively new area of communication and experience its effectiveness hands on", says Nehme Lebbos - CEO,  iloubnan.info. "And this will hopefully create a momentum in favor of web advertising in general and web video in particular."

"We are very pleased to collaborate with iloubnan.info on this exciting project because we believe that the future of corporate video lies in the ability to integrate creative video content with strategic distribution,"    adds Ibrahim Tabet - CEO, Origami.

Though still a niche market segment, online video is the fastest growing advertising and corporate communications tool. With the explosion of media portal, social media and viral marketing, it is becoming   an integral part of a company's communication mix. Web video enhances the presence and visibility of a company as it scores high with search engines. Much cheaper to produce and distribute than TV commercials, it allows companies to track the amount of click through and decide whom to target. It is also the most effective way to engage with consumers online and to carry out viral marketing.
