Photolibrary, the world’s leading independent producer and distributor of stock images, footage and music is excited to announce its new and improved website. The new website has been in beta testing for over a month and is now live.

Some of the new features include:

  • New cleaner design that maximises the full width of larger screen resolutions common in the advertising & marketing space.
  • An open search panel that makes searching through our various content types and advanced search features more accessible and easier to use.
  • An ability for users to choose their preferred background colour.
  • No more click throughs to add content to lightboxes and shopping carts. By utilising drop and drag features users can now add images or footage to their lighboxes/clipbins and shopping cart without the need for additional click throughs.
  • As well as keyword searches, users can now search through similar images. Photolibrary’s new image preview page showcases alternative images (matched by colour and keyword/s) making it even easier to find the perfect image.

In addition to the above features the new website includes Photolibrary’s first foreign language venture with the launch of the site in French. This coincides with the opening of Photolibrary France based in central Paris.

Finally, we will now be offering credit card ecommerce facilities in local currency for certain regional countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India and UAE who have lacked this feature from Photolibrary in the past.

Glenn Parker, Photolibrary Group CEO commented:  “as always Photolibrary seeks to provide its clients with an enjoyable experience when searching our image, film and music content. We hope that our users like the changes we have made. We are also excited about our first land based presence in continental Europe with additional offices planned over the coming months.
