SmartCity launches Connect magazine to further international marketing campaign

SmartCity, a joint venture between TECOM Investments and Sama Dubai, will launch Connect magazine at GITEX to increase the interface between the knowledge based industry and SmartCity stakeholders.

This also forms part of SmartCity's strategic move towards increasing its marketing activities, with the ultimate aim of drawing international, regional and local businesses to relocate their businesses to strategically located destinations such as SmartCity Malta, SmartCity Kochi and TECOM Business Parks in Dubai.

Commenting on the launch, Fareed Abdulrahman, CEO SmartCity said: ' We are very excited about the introduction of Connect - which aims to provide cutting edge insights from today's thought leaders and promoting industry excellence. Connect is in line with SmartCity's vision to create a global network of self-sustained business townships to foster the knowledge economy by Connecting SmartCity locations. We are delighted to include insights and opinions from international companies and the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communication in Malta in our first edition.'

The publication is aimed at CEOs, CFOs and key decision makers in IT, media and the knowledge economy and covers a wide-range of topics relevant to business leaders worldwide today; including business and technology trends, interviews and opinion articles from influential people in business and Government; and spotlights on regional trade shows and industry sectors. With an initial print run targeted at 6,000 C level executives, Connect aims to bring together and share knowledge with tomorrow's smart communities.
