Zed Communications, the award-winning integrated communications agency, was presented with the prestigious Diamond Award for the Best Website in Oman on Saturday, in a glittering event at the Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Hotel in Muscat. The agency, which has offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha, and is partnered with Al Halool Communications in Oman, had already galloped away with the UAE Web Agency of the Year Award in December, making it a creative force in the region.

The Oman Web Awards, which is a member of the Pan Arab Web Awards Academy, promotes and drives innovation and creativity in web design in the Sultanate. This year's fifth Oman Awards in association with Ayna, Microsoft and BSA showcased creative work in 24 categories in a country fast emerging as the ideal development ground for e-Government and e-commerce activities.

Robert Mitchell, Managing Director of Zed Communications, said after the event: "I am delighted that of all the great work that was showcased in Muscat on Saturday, Zed's was judged overall best by the jury. As Oman moves from an oil-based to a knowledge-based economy, the importance of outstanding integrated communications grows.
