Government-owned media firm Twofour54 ibtikar, has announced its investment deal with Tahadi Games and Jawaker worth in the amount of $2.5 million. Deputy CEO and chief operating officer of twofour54, Wayne Borg, said the firm is currently in deal talks with ten companies.

Furthermore, Twofour54 ibtikar has taken minority stakes in Arabic online games companies Tahadi Games and Jawaker, in deals that are expected to create tens of new jobs for local youth. “We are creating meaningful jobs for young people in the UAE,” said Wayne Borg.

“We are looking about 50 jobs minimum realistically within the first eighteen months.”
