Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S4 at an event on Thursday night in New York. The S4 is the fourth device launched from the increasingly popular Galaxy S line. The latest device features a larger 5-inch screen with improved screen resolution and pixel density. It also offers an impressive camera and an entire suite of new, imaginative software features that differentiate the Galaxy S4 from other phones.

According to Google co-founder Sergey Brin, the freedom of the Internet is facing its greatest threat ever. In an interview published by Britain's Guardian newspaper, Brin said that the principles of openness and universal access are being squashed by governments in order to control populations around the world. "There are very powerful forces that have lined up against the open Internet on all sides and around the world," Brin said. "I am more worried than I have been in the past. It's scary."

Facebook has further developed its 'subscribe' concept by launching a subscribe button for websites.
