Sanad, the Abu Dhabi Film Festival's fund for Arab filmmakers, announced the application deadlines for 2012. The current cycle of applications will close on January 26, 2012. The deadline for the following Sanad cycle will be June 26, 2012.

The 5th Abu Dhabi Film Festival (ADFF) will be screening over 200 films from over 43 countries, bringing a selection of old and new classics. Presented each October by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, ADFF will offer screenings each evening at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, while continuing to present its programme at VOX Cinemas, Marina Mall, and the Abu Dhabi Theatre.
