According to IPSOS Media Index Data 2009, the UAE leads the GCC in newspaper advertising space with 32.7 per cent as of 2009. Advertising expenditure has reached AED 1.5 billion in the UAE. The number is forecasted to witness a compound annual growth of 11 per cent in the coming two years.
