Key Responsibilities of the role:
 
Administrative Support:
Draft official letters for GM Marketing as per instructions received, as well as prepare any report as may be required.
Also responsible for maintaining the various files relevant to Marketing office, and any marketing database, ensuring that there is an effective system in place for the tracking and retrieval of the files/ documents or other information.
Coordinate on any task on behalf of the GM Marketing, whether internally (within DFC) or with external parties (clients/ consultants etc).
 
Secretarial Support:
Maintains the GM-Marketing's diary and email, books meetings and minutes them where necessary.آ  Responsible for coordinating on all aspects of business travel requirements for the department, right from preparing the necessary paperwork for the visa to making all hotel and flight bookings, ensuring there is a good balance between the need to optimize costs and the need to have a reasonably well paced itinerary to meet business needs of the trip.
 
Arrangements for visiting consultants (specific to Marketing):
Responsible for coordinating with any consultant visiting from oversees in terms of arranging for visa, arranging the flight and hotel bookings, and making the necessary arrangements related to their transportation and meetings in DFC.
 
Handling Calls and General Marketing Emails:
Responsible for screening external calls and emails forwarded to the marketing department, and ensuring that they are responded to by appropriate person within a reasonable time frame.
 
Marketing Calendar:
Responsible for managing the co-ordination and tracking of the DFC marketing calendar to ensure that all business units are aware of activities and there is no clash in booking appointments and so hat the facility can be used effectively.
 
Supervisory:
Assign duties to company driver as per departmental priorities, and supervises the day to day functioning of the Department ensuring smooth functioning of all support requirements for the department as well as to ensure completion of job within time frame.
 
Leave Record:
Responsible for maintaining leave record of all personnel in Marketing office, and updating attendance sheets within the monthly cut off period, with the objective of facilitating the timely processing of pay roll data and disbursement of salaries to employees by HR and Finance.
 
Financial:
Ensure that all financial processes are adhered to according to company policies and that the individual and total marketing budget is/are updated accordingly.
 
Team Work:
Assist the extended marketing team as required across events, exhibitions, PR and special projects. Work closely with all marketing teams within DFC to assist in marketing activities.
 
Presentations:
Assist in preparing presentations and material for management meetings on an as required.
Requirements
The successful candidate must:
 
* Be educated up to secondary level
* Have 3 - 4 years experience in a Secretarial position within a competitive marketing & advertising environment.
* Have proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint)

Al-Futtaim Marine and Al-Futtaim Office are two new brands from the Al-Futtaim Group of Companies.
The vision for Al-Futtaim Marine is to be the leading brand in the pleasure marine industry in the UAE, with a strong focus on service. Al-Futtaim Office is an office furniture supply business that aims to be the leading supplier for medium to large offices, refitting and refurnishing.
The Marketing Executive's role will be to launch these brands, run the marketing process, make the brands one of the most leading and respectable brands in their industry, and play an active role in taking the business forward by taking initiatives.
 
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
 
* Launch Al-Futtaim Marine and Al-Futtaim Office
* Develop the marketing strategy for Al-Futtaim Marine and Al-Futtaim Office
* Develop and manage annual marketing plans
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
 
* Bachelors degree in Marketing orآ Communications
 
* Experience working with luxury brands
 
Minimum Experience:
 
* 3-5 years experience
 
Job-Specific Skills:
 
* Must have launched a leading luxury brand
* Must have knowledge of what a brand strategy is and why it is important
* Must have experience in events, planning ads, PR, direct marketing.
 
Behavioural Competencies :

* Willing to work long hours and/or weekends
