Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Online Services, you will be responsible for designing and implementing websites, e-shots, web applications and banner layouts / templates. Applicant must be based in the UAE with significant experience as a Web Designer.
 
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and XHTML is essential, experience in Illustrator, HTML 5 and CSS3 will be an added advantage. You must be self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, an excellent team player and customer focused.

Middle East Ad spend grows by 22% in Q1

AMEinfo reports that according to a Pan Arab Research Centre report, advertising spend in the region has increased by 22% in Q1 2010, rising from $2.28 billion in 2009 to $2.74 billion in the first three months of year 2010. Egypt had the largest share of media spend in the region, reaching $387 million, followed by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.


ART closes Canada IPTV deal

AMEinfo reports that ART has announced a long-term distribution agreement with Canadian’s IPTV service provider NeuLion Inc. The new service, branded Talfazat-ART, will offer Canadian viewers access to ART’s menu of channels, and will launch in June 2010 to offer both subscription and pay-per-view services.
