In his new book entitled 'Rejection and Acceptance', he discusses the evolution of information technology in Saudi Arabia. In the book, the prince attempts to explain why Saudi society was afraid of such technologies and explains how various agencies have dealt with technological developments.

Arab News has reported that Rotana Group, chaired by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, on Wednesday announced that News Corporation has reached an agreement to exercise 50 percent of its previously announced option in Rotana Group, the Middle East media group.
