Job Description 
 
Assignment:
Work in team with a copywriter under the direct supervision of senior creative
Participate in brainstorming sessions
Work on specific brand assignments
Execute layouts based on selected concept
Able to search in photo libraries
Retouch/accommodate given pictures to fix specific ideas/twists
Select relevant topographies (Latin/Arabic)
Be able to alter typography according to concept
Work on both ATL & BTL with the same drive and passion
On request, attend photo and TV shoots while adding value to the process
Be able to brief and supervise illustrators on the elaboration of STB in whichever format (Drawing, photo board, realistic or hyper realistic rendering etc…)
On request, produce animatics
Capable of input on printing to enhance quality and procedures
Fully understand brand strategy and creative brief and deliver accordingly
Deliver fresh and relevant executional ideas
Deliver visual concept and capable of executing them on his own
Capable of holistic exploitation of an idea
Master the art direction of print ads, printing materials and TVC pack-shots
Organize his work on a weekly basis and commit to short deadlines and flawless delivery
Coach Junior Art Director working under his supervision
Good presentation skills
 
Develop Digital Creative Concepts
Develop digital creative concepts that achieve the overall business strategy while creating an exceptional digital experience for consumers
 
Develop Digital Comps
Flesh out the digital concepts into a tighter form showing how it would be executed.  Executions could range from websites, online advertising, mobile, games, kiosks, social networks, to out of home/retail rich media development (video, audio, 3D, flash animation technologies)
Design digital solutions by synthesizing all brand, business, and user inputs.
Ensure that brand guidelines and technical requirements are followed.
Educational background to include:
Holder of Diploma of Graphic Design / Communication Art with special courses of Advertising Communication Arts or Diploma of Advertising /Art Direction
Special interest in Art & Culture (music, theatre, cinema, painting, literature) is a plus
Minimum 3-years courses certified by a final diploma
Mastering of all graphic and or Web design related MAC program (Photoshop/Illustration/Quark)
Fluent in one language (English or Arabic as 2nd is welcomed)

About the Job:
 
We are currently looking to recruit an Art Director to Join our Creative team, to be responsible for devising original creative concepts for both existing accounts and pitches. The successful candidate will work with copywriting resource where appropriate to ensure approved copy is accurately translated into Mac visuals and artwork.
This role will involve the following responsibilities :
 
- Create appropriate concepts, either working alone or with a copywriter, Group head or Creative partner.
- On approval of concept by account team and client, take the job to an appropriate level of finish for each consecutive next stage.
- Take responsibility for overseeing and quality control of amends in light of clients' comments.
- Liaise with creative services to produce visuals as required.
- Source stock shots or original photography.
- Oversee photographic shoots, TVC shoots and have a working knowledge of cinematography and post production.
- Maintain effective communication with all relevant internal and external contacts.
- Attend briefing sessions and discuss Bran Footprint, Selling strategy and purpose of the brief with the Account Director or appropriate member of the account team.
 
Skills and Experience:
 
To be considered for this position, you will:
 
- Have a bachelor degree in Art or equivalent. 
- Have worked in advertising for at least 5 years with an extensive knowledge and expertise in the creative field.
- Have managed one or several accounts and proven delivery of successful results.
- Have solid planning and organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks at any given time.
- Be Flexible to react quickly to the changing demands of the business
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Excellent typographic and design skills
- Have a good understanding of the advertising industry. 
- Excellent attention to detail and good initiative
- Must be a team player
