Gulf News reports that Bahrain is imposing a ban on Blackberry sharing of local news. The decision has been made following the dissemination of confusing news and information from unlicensed users. Offenders were summoned and informed that there will be legal action against breaking the laws and regulations. An immediate result of the ministry's action was the suspension of daily news provided by "Breaking News", started by a Bahraini journalist to more than 13,000 BlackBerry subscribers.
