Grapheast and Corbis call on creative visual talent for regional ‘Creatives Behind The Lens’ Awards

Grapheast, the Middle East’s leading Vision Solutions Agency, and it’s partner Corbis are calling on creative talent to enter the region’s first ‘Creatives Behind the Lens’ Awards.

Entrants have until February 20 to submit images online, with a special Creatives Behind The Lens Awards event to be held at the International Advertising Association’ offices (IAA, UAE chapter), on February 27, 2008.

Creatives Behind the Lens provides creative professionals (non professional photographers) the opportunity to create original photographic work and to be recognized for their talent. The judging panel will be comprised of international professional senior creatives and photographers.

There are no restrictions to enter the awards, no brief or set categories to give free reign to creative visual expression. So we urge anyone with either a creative job or purely a creative streak to grab a camera and submit up to three images for consideration.”

Winning entries will be shown in an exhibition; and will also be featured in Communicate Magazine the leading trade publication and key media partner for the event.  Creatives Behind the Lens is also kindly sponsored in cooperation with Apple distributors IMC ME, and the International Advertising Association (IAA) UAE Chapter.

Prizes include a MacBook Pro 17" with runners up prizes including Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and a Pantone Huey Pro. The Creatives Behind The Lens Award winners will be announced at a creative event inside IAA office, BLDG 8, Dubai Media City from 6pm on February 27, 2008.
