According to The National, telecoms operator du plans to double the amount of advertising it places on digital media over the next two years. Osman Sultan, the chief executive of du, says that the company is aiming to devote more than 14 per cent of its advertising budget to online media by 2013.



To further enhance and complement the creative advertising and communications awards of the 4th Dubai International Advertising Festival, a new Design category will be added in 2011, chaired by the distinguished designer Rodney Fitch CBE, founder of Fitch and Professor of Retail Design at TUDelft University, Holland. The Design category will honour the creative and innovative use of design for brand and product communication and development.

Dubai Lynx 2011, the Dubai International Advertising Festival, now in its fourth year, opens registration to honour creative excellence in advertising across the Middle East and Africa. The festival programme will feature best work from across the region and will be held on 27th-29th March, 2011 at the Madinat Jumairah. The Lynx Awards is set to take place on March 30th, 2011.

Now in its fourth year, the Dubai Lynx festival will take place over two and a half days from 27 to 29 March, 2011. The Dubai Lynx Awards, honouring the region’s best work in advertising and creative communications, will be held on 30 March. Both events will take place for the first time at the Arabian coast resort, the Madinat Jumeirah, in Dubai.
