YouTube views decrease as engagement continues to grow

According to new findings from ComScore, YouTube's number of 'views' are decreasing.  Since December, views on YouTube have dropped 28%, while March views are only slightly than they were a year ago. However, the change was intended, as YouTube aims to become a complete entertainment destination.

According to a recent study by InMobi, mobile web users are spending more than a quarter of their media time on mobile, as compared with 22% of their time on TV and computers. Availability, ease of use, and privacy are the top three factors driving the increase. The fourth quarter 2011 Mobile Media Consumption report by InMobi has also revealed that such trends have significance in monetisation.
