App-happy customers who want the latest Nokia downloads can keep their mobiles up to speed even easier than ever, thanks to du. du customers with Nokia phones will now have the option to purchase all the latest applications including games and premium content from the Nokia Store and be charged directly to their du post- or pre-paid line, offering customers a quick, convenient and secure form of payment. The service also offers du customers the additional choice and convenience of availing WiFi hotspots for downloading applications.

Several entertainment, documentary, news, film and children's TV channels have been added to du' s television offering. RTG, RBK, RTV1, Nashe Kino, Detski Mir TV / Teleclub, Karusel TV, CCTV Russian, and Rus ORTi are the channels that are now available via du's new Russian-language subscription package. The package is now available for a monthly fee of AED99.

As part of its partnership with Manchester United Football Club, du held a ceremony to launch special club-related content at its head office in Dubai Media City. Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, was present for the event.

Continually making efforts to improve upon the services it offers, Du has expanded the Arabic library available through its Video On Demand service, a popular feature among Du TV's customers, by joining hands with entertainment company Rotana.
