According to Ad Age Digital, the U.S. antitrust enforcers are investigating whether Google illegally increased advertising rates 50-fold for rival Microsoft. The Federal Trade Commission is probing the increase, along with other allegations against Google related to advertising, as a result of complaints from Microsoft.

Rapid TV News reports that according to a new research on the media tablet market from IDC, it has been revealed that the global demand for Apple’s iPad is almost exclusively driving the entire media tablet market, representing nearly 90% of the total tablets shipped worldwide in Q3 2010. For Q310, the media tablet market grew 45.1% and the analyst expects the media tablet market to have comprised of 17 million units by the end of 2010.
