According to Gulf News, a new initiative to raise awareness about the UAE’s fledgling industry, 22 Emirati and other locally produced films will be distributed and screened across the Middle East and North Africa region over the next five years.

The National’s Mixed Media has reported that Imagenation Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media City, has partnered with Fox Star Studios, a joint venture between Star TV and News Corp, for the distribution of the movie titled “My Name is Khan”. ADMC’s partnership with News Corp marks a second deal in less than a year.
