With the increase in the number of smartphones in Jordan and the allocated budgets set aside for online ads, Jordanians expect a rise in online advertising. Many experts believe more companies and users will resort to online advertising in the coming few years.

Companies in Jordan are highly unlikely to register their websites using the arabic top-level domain (.alordon) unless, a countrywide campaign is carried out to attract their interest.

Under the Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Information Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT) announced the launch of the Middle East and North Africa Information and Communications Technology Forum - MENA ICT Forum 2010.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Marwan Juma, the Minister of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT), the winners of the Jordan Web Awards 2010 will be announced on Saturday, February 20th during a ceremony at the Grant Hyatt Amman Hotel.
